Fit the two new pads in the correct po-
sition.
ALWAYS REPLACE THE FOUR PADS AND MAKE SURE
THEY ARE CORRECTLY POSITIONED INSIDE THE CAL-
LIPER.
•
Fit the front brake calliper on the disc.
•
Hand-tighten the two screws (1) fully.
•
Pull the front brake lever to seat the
brake calliper correctly.
•
Tighten the two screws (1).
•
Check the front brake fluid level.
Rear brake pads
Removal
•
Rest the vehicle on its stand.
•
Remove the rear brake calliper.
CAUTION
DO NOT ACTUATE ON THE REAR BRAKE LEVER AFTER REMOVING THE WHEEL, OTHERWISE
THE CALLIPER PLUNGER COULD GO OUT OF ITS SEAT, RESULTING IN BRAKE FLUID LEAK-
AGE.
•
Remove the snap ring (1).
BEFORE REMOVING THE PIN (2), CHECK THAT THE
SAFETY SPRING (3) IS CORRECTLY POSITIONED; WHEN
REFITTED, IT MUST POSITIONED IN THE SAME WAY.
