Checking the clutch housing
Check the clutch bell for damage and wear that may result in clutch irregular operation. If necessary,
replace the bell.
Check the riveted joint between the clutch bell and the primary drive sprocket for correct sealing and
evenness.
Check the primary drive gear for damage and wear
and, if necessary, replace the primary drive gear
and the clutch bell all together.
Make sure there is not excessive noise during op-
eration; if necessary, replace the primary drive
gear and the clutch bell all together.
Checking the pusher plate
Check the thrust plate and the bearing for damage and wear. If necessary, replace the parts.
