Vehicle preparation
Proceed as follows to remove from the chassis:
•
Remove the underfairings, the fairing lug and the radiator cowl.
•
Remove the fuel tank and the battery.
•
Disconnect and remove the hand grip position sensor.
•
Remove the throttle body and the filter box.
•
Remove the complete exhaust.
•
Remove the lubrication and cooling system radiators.
•
Remove the side stand.
•
Remove the left hand rider footpeg.
Position the vehicle as described:
•
Fasten an appropriately sized belt for the weight of the vehicle to the semi-handlebars and
to a hoist.
•
Fit the rear and front stands.
•
Fit the specific under-sump engine support plate.
