Configure storm control from CONFIGURATION mode
Configure storm control from CONFIGURATION mode using the command storm control. From
CONFIGURATION mode you can configure storm control for ingress and egress traffic.
Do not apply per-VLAN QoS on an interface that has storm-control enabled (either on an interface or
globally)
• On the E-Series, when broadcast storm-control is enabled on an interface or globally on the ingress and
DSCP marking for a DSCP value 1 is configured for the data traffic, the traffic goes to queue 1 instead
of queue 0. Similarly, if unicast storm-control is enabled on an interface or globally on the ingress, and
DSCP marking for a DSCP value 2 is configured for the data traffic, the traffic goes to queue 2 instead
of queue 0.
