Station Move Violation Actions
Station Move Violation Actions are supported only on platforms: S-Series (S25/S50)
no-station-move is the default behavior. You can configure the system to take an action if a station move
occurs using one the following options with the
mac learning-limit command:.
To display a list of interfaces configured with MAC learning limit or station move violation actions:
Recovering from Learning Limit and Station Move Violations
After a learning-limit or station-move violation shuts down an interface, you must manually reset it:

Generate a system log message
indicating a station move.
station-move-violation log

Shut down the first port to learn the
MAC address.
station-move-violation shutdown-original

Shut down the second port to learn the
MAC address.

Shut down both the first and second port
to learn the MAC address.
