Reload without a DHCP Server Offer
A switch configured to reload in BMP mode and if the DHCP server cannot be reached, the system keeps
on sending DISCOVER messages.

Reload with a DHCP Server Offer without an FTOS Image
If a switch that is configured to reload in BMP mode reaches a DHCP server but does not locate a
downloadable FTOS image file on the server, it attempts to download the configuration file.
1. The system boots up with the BMP application.

2. The system downloads the customer.conf configuration file from the file-server address if
config-scr-download is enabled.
3. If the configuration download is successful, the following logs are displayed.

Reload with a DHCP Server Offer without a Configuration File
If a switch that is configured to reload in BMP mode reaches a DHCP server but cannot retrieve a
configuration file, the switch looks for a configuration file on the file server only if the
config-scr-download command is enabled.
