Version compatibility between RPMs
In general, the two RPMs should have the same FTOS version. However, FTOS tolerates some degree of
difference between the two versions, as described in Table 21-1, "System Behavior with RPMs with
Mismatched FTOS Versions," in High Availability. View the configuration loaded on each RPM using the
command
show redundancy, as shown in the example in Automatic and manual RPM failover .

The link to the peer RPM is up, and FTOS performs a complete block
sync. The failover type is hot failover. FTOS displays Message 2.
