3. Remove the sharp corner created by reamer at
top of valve guide.
Valve Springs - Checking Tension
Using valve spring tester, as shown, check valve
spring tension with dampers removed. Refer to
“Specifications.”
IMPORTANT: Springs should be replaced if not
within 10 lb. ft. (13.5 N•m) of specified tension.
