Flame Arrestor
Maintenance for the flame arrestor is the same as
standard engine (See the Weber WFB carburetor
section of the appropriate MerCruiser Service Manu-
al). The only difference in the flame arrestor on an en-
gine with the Bodensee Emissions system is in the
vent hose bracket. This bracket has a fitting on one
side only.

Fuel Filter
Maintenance for fuel inlet filters is the same as stan-
dard engine (see the Weber WFB carburetor section
of the appropriate MerCruiser Service Manual).
Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)
The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve
should be replaced once a year.
