Draining Transmission
1. Clean area around cooler hose shown and pro-
ceed as follows:
a. Disconnect hose from elbow fitting.
b. Remove elbow fitting from bushing.
c. Drain oil from transmission, cooler, and cool-
er hoses into a suitable container.

2. Remove bushing, spring and strainer tube from
transmission case. Allow transmission to drain
completely.
3. Clean strainer tube in suitable solvent.
