Flame Arrestor
NOTICE
Refer to “Precautions,” in this section,
BEFORE proceeding.
1. Remove (in the following order):
a. Nut
b. Sealing washer
c. Carburetor cover
d. Crankcase ventilation hoses from flame ar-
restor and rocker arm covers
e. Flame arrestor
2. Clean and inspect:
a. Clean flame arrestor in solvent and blow dry
with compressed air.
b. Clean crankcase ventilation hoses.
c. Inspect crankcase ventilation hoses for
cracks or deterioration, and replace if neces-
sary.
