CAUTION
Transmission fluid filter and cover must be prop-
erly seated to avoid fluid foaming and/or loss of
fluid, thus resulting in decreased efficiency and/
or damage to transmission.
b. Push down until cover is fully seated (top of
cover flush with housing), then turn T-handle
or tighten allen head screw clockwise until
tight.

3. Start engine and run for two minutes to fill system
with fluid.
4. Stop engine and check fluid level. Fluid should be
between min. and max. lines on dipstick.

Transmission Removal
1. Disconnect wires from neutral safety switch and
audio warning temperature switch.

2. Disconnect seawater hoses from transmission
fluid cooler.
