INSTALLATION
1. Install spark plugs. Torque to 11 lb. ft. (15 N·m).
2. Connect spark plug wires to their respective
spark plug.
IMPORTANT: Wire routing must be kept intact
during service and followed exactly when wires
have been disconnected or when wire replace-
ment is necessary. Failure to route wires properly
can lead to radio frequency interference, cross
firing of the plugs, and/or shorting of leads to
ground.
NOTE: When replacing spark plug wires, it is good
practice to replace one wire at a time to reduce the
risk of error.
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect one spark plug wire at spark plug and
distributor.
2. Connect new spark plug wire at spark plug and
distributor.
3. Continue steps 1 and 2 until all spark wires have
been replaced.
