Product Description
The EPOCH 1000, EPOCH 1000iR, and EPOCH 1000i are portable ultrasonic non
destructive test (NDT) instruments used to detect flaw conditions in welds, pipes, and
many other structural and/or industrial materials. The instruments may be used with
a variety of conventional and/or phased array ultrasonic transducers in indoor and
outdoor environments. These flaw detectors offer advanced conventional ultrasonic
performance, as well as basic phased array imaging capabilities. The instruments
feature a large dynamic range, superior measurement resolution, a full VGA
resolution (640 x 480
pixels) color-liquid crystal display with transflective technology
for superior visibility, and an intuitive user interface.
The EPOCH 1000/1000iR/1000i features many performance, durability, and
operational enhancements when compared to previous EPOCH flaw detector
instruments. These enhancements include:
• Case sealed to the requirements of IP66 environmental rating
