1.2.5 About Indicators
The EPOCH 1000 Series instruments provide one power and three alarm indicator
lights (see
Figure 1-6 on page 27). The indicators are located on the front panel above
the display window (see Figure 1-2 on page 21).
[GATE]
Selects gates (1, 2, or IF) on the screen.

F], [GATE] (AUTO XX%)
Automatically adjusts gated signal to XX% of full-screen height (see
section 4.2 on page 90).
[RANGE]
Adjusts the instrument’s range according to the sound level setting.

F], [RANGE] (DELAY)
Displays the delay that does not affect the calibrated zero offset.
[ANGLE] (EPOCH 1000i only)
Allows adjustment of the current focal law (PA mode) or angle (UT
mode)
[ANGLE] (EPOCH 1000 only)
Allows adjustment of current angle.
[PEAK MEM]
Activates the peak memory function (see section 5.2 on page 102).

F], [PEAK MEM] (PK HOLD)
Activates the peak hold function (see section 5.3 on page 104).

Accesses the second function identified above the keypad keys when
pressed and released.
[RECALL SETUP]
Allows access to quick calibration file recall (see section 10.3.5 on
page 183).

Prints reports to compatible printer connected to a USB port.
