All Lock
Used to lock access to all instrument function keys except [ON/OFF]. A padlock
symbol
appears in the flag area of the live display when active. Turn the
instrument off and on to unlock the keys.
Cal Lock
Used to lock access to the following functions: Gain, Auto CAL, PA Cal, CAL
Zero, Ve lo ci ty, Angle, Pulser, Receiver, and PA P/R. A half padlock symbol
appears in the flag area of the live display when active.
Temp Cal
Used to select automatic or manual temperature calibration of the instrument.
Temperature calibration is used to normalize the response of internal components
of the instrument as the internal temperature of the instrument changes. This
calibration ensures proper vertical alignment and response of the A-scan.
Temperature calibration suspends all data acquisition for 1 or 2 seconds. For
manual scanning applications, automatic temperature calibration is
recommended. For automated scanning applications, manual temperature
calibration is recommended to avoid loss of data.
Locale
Used to select the format used by the instrument to display numeric values
(radix) and the date.
Year
Used to set the year for the instrument internal clock.
Month
Used to set the month for the instrument internal clock.
Date
Used to set the day of the month for the instrument internal clock.
Hour
Used to set the hour for the instrument internal clock.
Minute
Used to set the minutes for the instrument internal clock.
