The ISO norm does not limit the power of a 540 rpm 6-spline PTO shaft with a
diameter of 1⅜” (35 mm).
NOTE: For power over 67 hp (50 kW), use a 1 000 rpm output to ensure
durability of the PTO shafts.
Implements for 1 000 rpm (at engine speed of 2 000 rpm)
Normally a 21-spline shaft (extra equipment) with a diameter of 35 mm is
recommended.
Heavy use
Normally a 20-spline shaft with a diameter of 45 mm is recommended. This shaft
is standard equipment. If necessary, a torque limiting clutch with the maximum
torque of 1 000 Nm should be used.
3.17.2.2 Activating rear power take-off
Before you can start the rear power take-off, you have to activate one of the rear
PTO speed ranges available on your tractor.
IMPORTANT: Do not exceed the maximum PTO speed of the implement defined
by the implement manufacturer.
