4. Fit and tighten the screw and washer securing the filament assembly to
the ion block, while ensuring that the filament coils are centered in the
ion block aperture.
To fit the bayonet support
1. Fit the shouldered locating dowels in the holes on opposite sides of the
trap, with the shouldered end on the front side of the ion block.
2. Fit the plain dowels to the other two holes in the ion block.
3. Place the ion block with the trap and repeller face down on a clean, flat
surface.
