Separating of Front Differential Case from Bevel Gear Case
1. Remove the bevel gear case (2) and the front wheel case (3) as
a unit from the front differential case (1).
(When reassembling)
• Apply grease to the O-ring.
• Install the bevel gear case to the front differential case, noting
the O-ring.

Bevel Gear Case
1. Remove the internal circlip (3) and shim (2) then draw out the
11T bevel gear (1) with bearing.
2. Remove the front wheel case support (8).
3. Draw out the bevel gear shaft (5).
(When reassembling)
• Apply grease to the front wheel case support DX bushing and
front wheel case DX bushing.
• Install the oil seal to the front wheel case support so that its lip
faces the outward.
• Apply gear oil to the bearing.

Front Wheel Case Cover
1. Remove the front wheel case cover (1) from the front wheel
case (4).
(When reassembling)
• Apply transmission fluid to the O-ring.
• Install the shim (3) to its original position.
(Reference)
• Thickness of shim (3):
0.4 mm (0.0158 in.)
0.6 mm (0.0237 in.)
0.8 mm (0.0315 in.)
1.0 mm (0.0394 in.)
1.2 mm (0.0473 in.)
