TIP:
Install an oil seal halfway into the propeller
shaft housing, and then install the other oil
seal.
3. Install the thrust washer “1” and a new
ball bearing “2” onto the reverse gear “3”.
TIP:
Face the bearing identification mark “a” on
the ball bearing toward the propeller.
4. Install the reverse gear assembly “1”.
5. Check that the reverse gear turns
smoothly.
6. Install a new O-ring “1”.

4.75–5.25 mm (0.187–0.207 in)
