Drive shaft and lower case (regular rotation model)
Removing the drive shaft
1. Remove the cover “1”, drive shaft hous-
ing “2”, pinion shims “3”, and thrust bear-
ing “4”.
2. Loosen the pinion nut, and then remove
the pinion “1”, drive shaft “2”, and sleeve.
3. Remove the forward gear assembly “1”.
Disassembling the drive shaft
housing
1. Remove the O-ring “1”.
2. Remove the oil seals “1”.
3. Remove the needle bearing “1”.
Disassembling the forward gear
1. Remove the taper roller bearing inner
race “1”.
