Y-COP (standard for European market and optional for Oceanian market)
4. Turn the engine start switch to OFF. Initial
registration is complete. Y-COP is
unlocked.
5. Push the lock button “1” of the transmit-
ter. Check that the buzzer of the receiver
will sound 1 short beep.
6. Turn the engine start switch to ON.
TIP:
If the outboard motor is equipped with the
6Y8 Multifunction Meter, “-” is displayed on
the tachometer when the engine start switch
is turned to ON.
7. Push the unlock button “1” of the trans-
mitter. Check that the buzzer of the
receiver will sound 2 short beeps.
TIP:
If the outboard motor is equipped with the
6Y8 Multifunction Meter, “0” is displayed on
the tachometer when the engine start switch
is turned to ON.
8. Turn the engine start switch to OFF.
