6 Input the "hot expansion -type de" or the "hot expansion -type de

" command.
The steps involved in increasing the number of usable host interface ports are as follows:
1 Use the "set host-port-license -key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" command to register the host
interface port expansion license. The operand of the "-key" parameter is the license key.
2 Remove the covers of port#1 on CM#XDB#X.
3 Attach SFPs to port#1 on CM#XDB#X.
4 Use the "hot expansion -type host-port" command to define and incorporate the ports into
the system.
