15.3.2 Preliminary steps
Before replacing the front panel cable, perform the following steps:
Ê Locate the defective server as described in section "Locating the defective
server" on page 50.
Ê Shut down the server as described in section "Shutting down the server" on
page 58.
Ê Remove the AC power cord from the cable tie and disconnect it from the
system as described in section "Connecting the server to the mains" on
page 73.
Ê Open the server cover as described in section "Opening the server" on
page 61.

Ê Disconnect the front panel cable Y4015-V1 from system board connector
FRONTPANEL.
