Manual Degauss
Degaussing refers to the process of removing magnetic-field
effects from the monitor. Operation of the monitor within a
magnetic field may adversely effect color purity. Degaussing can
be used to correct this problem. The monitor automatically
degausses at power on.
To activate the manual degauss:
1. Press the <<< or >>> monitor adjustment buttons while the
brightness/contrast adjustment indicator is not displayed on
the monitor. To cancel the manual degauss, press the <<<
or >>> adjustment button again.
2. Press the toggle button for brightness and contrast.
3. Press the <<< or >>> Adjustment button.
NOTE: Monitor degaussing (demagnetizing) is done automatically when
the system is turned on.
Speakers
Audio is provided by speakers located on the sides of the
display monitor.
• Audio Doppler operation
• Audio playback of videotaped scan sessions
• Audio error notification.
