Configuring Connectivity
Overview
You use Connectivity functionality to set up the connection and
communication protocols for the ultrasound system. This page
gives an overview of each of the Connectivity functions. Each
function is described in detail in the following pages.
Structured Reporting
DICOM Structured Reporting provides the results of a procedure
as structured data elements (well-defined fields) as opposed to
unstructured data (big blob of text undifferentiated by individual
fields). This greatly improves query capability. DICOM
Structured Reporting creates coded clinical data that can be
used for clinical research, outcomes analysis, and disease
management.
NOTE: Structured Reporting is ONLY available with the LOGIQworks
workstation.
