■ Setting a password
(1) Set "Soft-Lock selection [b031]" and "Display restriction selection [b037]" according to the
content to be protected.
(2) Enter any password in the password setting parameter ([b190]/[b192]).
(Note that 0000 cannot be used.)
(3) The password lock has been activated. [b031]/[b037] cannot be changed.
■ Authenticating a password (When the person who knows the password
changes the data of [b031]/[b037])
(1) Enter the password in the password authentication parameter ([b191]/[b193]).
(2) If the password is correct, "Good" is displayed and [b031]/[b037] can be changed. If the
password is incorrect, "Err" is displayed and the inverter returns to the original state (password
lock state). After turning on the power again or about 10 minutes pass without any key
operation, the password lock state is automatically activated.
■ Changing password
(1) Authenticate the password.
(The password cannot be changed in the password lock state ("0000" is displayed)).
(2) Enter a different password in the password setting parameter ([b190]/[b192]).
(3) When the password is changed, the inverter automatically enters the password lock state.
■ Deleting a password
(1) Authenticate the password.
(Password cannot be deleted in the password lock state ("0000" is displayed)).
(2) Enter 0000 in the password setting parameter ([b190]/[b192]).
(3) The inverter will return to the default state without a password and all password information
will be cleared.
