Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-15-1
9.15 Functions with External Signal Input
9.15.1 Using External I/O Input Signal Functions
 How to assign each function to the input terminals of the inverter to operate with I/O signal
input?
 How to switch a/b (NO/NC) contact for the input terminals?
 The input terminal [1] to [7] are intelligent input terminals. By assigning the functions in the list
of input terminal functions shown on the next page to [C001] to [C007], the functions specified
in the input terminals [1] to [7] is assigned. For details of each function, refer to the chapter
shown in the "Page" column of the list of input terminal functions.
 The input terminals [1] to [7] can be individually selected as contact a (NO) input or contact b
(NC) input by setting [C011] to [C017].
 For details of the electrical specifications of the input terminals [1] to [7], refer to "5.4 Control
Circuit Terminal".
 The same function cannot be assigned to multiple input terminals. When assigning the same
function to multiple terminals, the last terminal assigned becomes enabled, and the assignment
before that terminal becomes "No assignment [no] (no)".
 Some functions may be assignable only to specific terminals. For details, refer to the pages
describing each function.
Assigns input terminal functions to input
terminals [1] to [7].
The settings of [C001] to [C007] correspond
to the input terminals [1] to [7], respectively.
