Chapter 7 Keypad and Related Functions
7-1-1
7.1 How to Use Keypad
7.1.1 Name and Content of Each Part
The names and descriptions of the parts of Keypad are shown below.
(1) Power LED [PWR] ● (green)
Lights up (green) while the inverter is powered on.
(2) Current monitor LED [A] ●(green)
Lights up (green) when the displayed data is current.
(3) Frequency monitor LED [Hz] ● (green)
Lights up (green) when the displayed data is frequency.
(4) Program LED [PRG] ● (green)
Lights up (green) when the display indicates the data (set
value) that can be changed.
Blinks when the set value is inconsistent. Refer to "15.3
Troubleshooting for Warning Functions Related Error".
(5) Alarm LED [AL] ● (red)
Lights up (red) when the inverter trips. Refer to "Chapter 15
Tips/FAQ/Troubleshooting" for more information about
tripping.
(6) Running LED [RUN] ●(green)
Lights up (green) when the inverter is running (since it lights
up under the OR conditions of [With RUN command] and
[While inverter outputs], it also lights up during deceleration
after RUN command is turned off).
(7) Negative LED [-] ●(red)
Lights up (red) when the data on the display is negative.
(8) Display (5-digit LED)
Displays data (red) such as various parameters and
frequency setting values.
(9) RUN command indicator LED ● (green)
Lights up (green) when RUN command source is "Keypad".
(Keypad's RUN key is enabled.)
Even if RUN command source is Keypad's RUN key, this
LED blinks when RUN key is pressed while operation
cannot be performed due to some function. For details,
refer to "15.3 Troubleshooting for Warning Functions
Related Error ".
Operates the inverter. However, it is valid when RUN
command source is "Keypad". The operating direction is set
in "RUN key command rotation direction [F004]".
Decelerates and stops the inverter. By "STOP/RESET-key
enable [b087]", operation stop by this key can be
switched enabled/disabled.
If the inverter is tripping, it will reset (return from trip
state).
(10) RUN key
(11) STOP/RESET key
(12) Esc key
Up
(Clockwise rotation)
Down
(Counterclockwise
rotation)
(9) RUN command
indicator LED (green)
(8) Display (5-digit LED)
The LEDs at the top of the display are
shown below in order from the right.
(1) Power LED [PWR] (green)
(2) Current monitor LED [A] (green)
(3) Frequency monitor LED [Hz] (green)
(4) Program LED [PRG] (green)
