Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-10-5
9.10.5 Avoiding Mechanical Resonance of Motor and Machine
 How to avoid strong vibrations at a certain speed when driving the motor installed in the
system?
 The frequency jump function is used to avoid the resonance points on inverter-driven machines.
 The jump frequency can be set in three locations.
 The output frequency within the range of the jump command varies continuously according to
the normal acceleration/deceleration time.
 When this function is specified, the output frequency cannot be set within the jump frequency
range in order to avoid steady operation within the jump frequency range. A warning appears
when the frequency command set in [F001]/[A020]/[A220]/[A021] to [A035] is within the
frequency range specified in the jump frequency. For details on warnings, refer to "15.3.1
Warning Display".
Sets the center of the frequency range you
want to jump. When 0.00 Hz is specified,
the frequency jump function is disabled.
Sets 1/2 of the frequency range you want
to jump. The frequency jumps a range of ±
jump width from the jump speed.
