9.11.2 Outputting a Major Failure Signal
How to detect an error condition that cannot be reset in the inverter and inform the system?
Assigning a "Major failure [MJA] (53)" to one of the output terminal functions
([C021]/[C022]/[C026]) enables the inverter to output a major failure signal.
Trips that are determined to be major failures are shown in the table below. If any of these
occurs, the trip cannot be released by resetting.
If this signal is output, the inverter hardware may be malfunctioning. Please confirm the trip
history and take appropriate action.
Major failure [MJA]:
This signal turns on when an error (a trip
shown in the table above) that is
determined to be a major failure occurs.
