12.2 Program Operation Function EzSQ
12.2.1 What Is EzSQ?
 What can the program operation function EzSQ do?
 EzSQ is a function that performs simple sequencing control using a BASIC like program language
dedicated to Hitachi Inverters.
 When using EzSQ, refer to "Inverter configuration software ProDriveNext instruction manual
(NT8001*X)" and "Easy-Sequence Function (EzSQ) Programming Guide (NT2021*X)" for more
information.

Create a EzSQ program using the inverter configuration software
ProDriveNext.
ProDriveNext is required.

Compiled to make the format executable by the inverter.
Syntax checking of the created EzSQ program is performed at
the same time as compilation. On error, compilation is
interrupted and an error message is displayed.

Downloads the compiled EzSQ program to the inverter and
saves it to the storage element of the inverter.

Set the required parameters of the inverter.

and Related Parameters" in the next
section.

Enable EzSQ function by setting "EzSQ enable selection [A017]"
to "[PRG] terminal (01)" or "Always (02)".

When "EzSQ enable selection [A017]" is "[PRG] terminal (01)",
EzSQ program is executed when the [PRG] input terminal is
turned on.
When "EzSQ enable selection [A017]" is "Always (02)", EzSQ
program is automatically executed when the power is turned on.

The operation status of EzSQ can be checked with the inverter's
keypad, etc.
*1. By storing the program in the internal memory of the inverter, the program can be executed
even after the power is turned on again. If you do not save the program to the internal
memory, the downloaded program will be erased when the inverter power is cut off.
When performing debugging work such as confirmation program operation, it is recommended
that the data is not stored in the internal memory but stored after debugging is completed.
 For details on EzSQ programming, refer to "Inverter configuration software ProDriveNext
instruction manual (NT8001*X)" and "Easy-Sequence Function (EzSQ) Programming Guide
(NT2021*X)".
 If a reset or trip reset is performed by the [RS] input terminal while EzSQ program is running, the
program counter is reset and executed from the beginning of the program.
 After the program is downloaded to the inverter, the inverter and the PC can be disconnected
and EzSQ program can be executed.
