Chapter 10 Monitor Functions
10-1-1
10.1 Check the Operation Data
10.1.1 Monitor the Output Frequency
 How to check the output frequency?
 How to arbitrarily convert the output frequency for display?
 How to adjust the frequency reference with keypad while monitoring the output frequency with
keypad?
Output frequency monitor [d001]
 Displays the output frequency of the inverter. "0.00" is displayed during stop.
 When the content of [d001] is displayed, "Frequency monitor LED (Hz)" on the keypad lights.
Displays the output frequency of the inverter.
"0.00" is displayed during stop. The "Frequency
monitor LED (Hz)" of the keypad lights while this
data is displayed.
Output frequency scale conversion monitor [d007]
 Displays the value obtained by converting [d001] with the factor set in "Frequency conversion
gain [b086]". Used when you want to change the display unit, such as when you want to change
the display from the output frequency to the motor rotation speed.
(Example) Displays the motor rotation speed.
Motor rotation speed N (min
-1
) = (120 × f (Hz)) / P (number of motor poles)
Therefore, if [b086] = 30.0 for a 4-pole motor, 1800 is displayed at 60 Hz.
Output frequency
scale conversion
monitor
Displays the value of [d001] × [b086].
Frequency
conversion gain
Set the conversion factor for [d007] display.
Frequency change function through monitor display
 When "Enable frequency changes through monitor display [b163]" is "Enable (01)", the
frequency reference can be changed by the keypad while [d001] or [d007] is displayed only
when "Frequency input source selection [A001]
*1
" is "Parameter setting (02)" and inverter is
running. When the [SET] key is pressed after changing the frequency reference, the changed
frequency reference value is stored in the inverter internal memory.
 When "FUP/FDN data save enable [C101]" is "Save (01)", note that the changed frequency
reference value is stored in the inverter internal memory when the power is shut off after
changing [d001]/[d007]. For details, refer to "9.2.13 Increasing/Decreasing Frequency
Command by Remote Control".
 Since "Output frequency setting or monitor [F001]" is rewritten while [d001]/[d007] is displayed,
there may be a time difference between keypad operation and display depending on
acceleration/deceleration time setting.
 Frequency cannot be changed while the inverter is stopped, during PID operation, or in the
individual input mode by pressing and holding the [SET] key.
Enable frequency
changes through
monitor display
Disable: Frequency reference cannot be
changed with [d001]/[d007].
Enable: Frequency reference can be changed
with [d001]/[d007].
