Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-11-8
9.11.8 Outputting a Warning for Cooling Fan Life
 How to be notified before the cooling fan reaches the end of life?
 Assigning "Cooling-fan life warning [WAF](40)" to one of the output terminal functions
([C021]/[C022]/[C026]) enables the inverter to output a cooling fan life warning signal.
 The life of the cooling fan is estimated based on the accumulated operating hours of the cooling
fan and the ambient temperature set for "Ambient temperature [b075]", and a signal is output
when the replacement time is reached.
 After replacing the cooling fan, life of the replaced new cooling fan can be assessed by clearing
the accumulated operating hours using the "Accumulated cooling fan run time clear [b093]".
 The status of this signal can also be monitored by the "Life assessment monitor [d022]".
 When this signal is output, check the cooling fan for clogging, etc.
 Do not clear the accumulated operating hours except when replacing the cooling fan, as the
cooling fan life assessment will not function properly.
 When the fan is stopped due to "Cooling fan control method selection [b092]", the cooling fan
operating hours are not accumulated.
Indicates the life assessment of
the electrolytic capacitor on the
board and the cooling fan.
