Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-11-7
9.11.7 Outputting a Warning for Capacitor Life on the Control Board
 How to be notified before the electrolytic capacitor on the board reaches the end of life?
 Assigning "Capacitor life warning [WAC](39)" to one of the output terminal functions
([C021]/[C022]/[C026]) enables the inverter to output a warning signal for the life of the
electrolytic capacitor on the control board.
 The life of the capacitor on the board can be assessed based on the temperature inside the
inverter and the accumulated power-on time.
 The status of this signal can also be monitored by the "Life assessment monitor [d022]".
 When a capacitor life warning occurs, it is recommended to replace the main circuit board, logic
board, etc.
Capacitor life warning [WAC]:
Outputs a life warning for the
electrolytic capacitor on the
logic board.
OFF: No warning
ON: Time to replace the board
due to capacitor life
expiration
