Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-3-2
Actual behavior of acceleration/deceleration time settings
 Each acceleration/deceleration time parameter setting results in an acceleration/deceleration
time that is calculated with respect to the entire range from 0 Hz to the maximum frequency.
For example, if the maximum frequency setting is 60 Hz and the acceleration time setting is 30
seconds, the actual acceleration time for frequency command to reach the command at 30 Hz is
15 seconds.
 No matter how short the acceleration/deceleration time is set, the actual
acceleration/deceleration time of the motor never be shorter than the minimum
acceleration/deceleration time, which is determined according to the moment of inertia "J" of
the mechanical system and the motor torque. If the acceleration/deceleration time setting is
shorter than the minimum acceleration/deceleration time, an "Over current error [E01] to [E04]",
"Overload error [E05]", or "Overvoltage error [E07]" may be triggered. For details regarding how
to handle these errors, refer to "Chapter 15 Tips/FAQ/Troubleshooting".
Acceleration time 1 setting
or monitor, 1st-motor
Sets the acceleration time from 0 Hz
to the maximum frequency.
Acceleration time 1 setting
or monitor, 2nd-motor
Sets the acceleration time from 0 Hz
to the maximum frequency.
Deceleration time 1 setting
or monitor, 1st-motor
Sets the deceleration time from the
maximum frequency to 0 Hz.
Deceleration time 1 setting
or monitor, 2nd-motor
Sets the deceleration time from the
maximum frequency to 0 Hz.
Acceleration/Deceleration
time input source selection
The acceleration/deceleration time is
set from the keypad according to the
parameter settings.
The acceleration/deceleration time is
set according to an EzSQ program
reserved variable.
*1. When the "2nd-motor control [SET]" input terminal is off, the acceleration/deceleration time 1 setting or
monitor, 1st-motor ([F002]/[F003]) are set as the acceleration/deceleration time.
When the "2nd-motor control [SET]" input terminal is on, the acceleration/deceleration time 1 setting or
monitor, 2nd-motor ([F202]/[F203]) are set as the acceleration/deceleration time.
