Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-7-5
Active frequency matching restart at instantaneous power failure/undervoltage ([b001] = 04)
 To perform an active frequency matching restart when an instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage occurs, set the "Restart mode selection after instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage error [b001]" to "Active frequency matching restart (04)".
 Even when the active frequency matching restart is set, a trip occurs if the instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage time exceeds the "Instantaneous power failure/undervoltage allowed time
[b002]".
Restart mode selection
after instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage error
Performs the active frequency matching
restart.
Instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage
allowed time
If the power returns within this set time, the
inverter restarts. (Example 2)
If the instantaneous power failure/
undervoltage lasts for longer than this set
time, the inverter will trip. (Example 3)
Retry wait time after
instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage error
Sets the wait time from when the power
returns until the restart.
Number of retries after
instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage
16 times:
The inverter restarts up to the 16th
instantaneous power failure/undervoltage,
but trips for the 17th time and thereafter.
(The count is cleared by a reset input or
power interruption.)
Unlimited: No trips occur.
Active frequency
matching restart level
Sets the current limit value at the active
frequency matching restart.
(0.2 to 2.0) × rated current (A)
(ND mode)
(0.2 to 1.5) × rated current (A)
(LD mode)
Active frequency matching
restart constant (speed)
Sets the deceleration time when the current
is increased.
Active frequency matching
restart speed selection
Starts at the frequency of the previous power
interruption.
Starts at the maximum frequency setting.
Starts at the current command frequency.
 "Enable instantaneous power failure/undervoltage error while in stop status [b004]" can be used
to disable instantaneous power failure/undervoltage errors while the inverter is stopped or
decelerating due to the RUN command being turned off. However, even if you use [b004] to
disable the instantaneous power failure/undervoltage trips during stop, the inverter trips if the
instantaneous power failure/undervoltage time exceeds the "Instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage allowed time [b002]".
 Even if the restart is set, an "Undervoltage error [E09]" trip occurs if the instantaneous power
failure/undervoltage continues for approximately 40 seconds.
 If the inverter control microcomputer is not supplied power because the power interruption lasts
for a long time, the inverter operates by restarting after reset release instead of the
instantaneous power failure/undervoltage restart.
