Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-14-7
Positioning restart function
This function automatically performs the positioning operation again if the position shifts due to
the motor being rotated by an external force, etc. during the DC braking after the completion of
positioning in the position control operation.
This function activates when the current position shifts outside the target position ± "Positioning
restart range [P080]".
When [P080] is set to a value other than zero, this function is enabled. If [P080] is zero, it is not
enabled.
If the RUN command is turned off after the positioning is completed, this function is disabled.
In the same manner as [P017], set [P080] to a pulse multiplier of 4 (the number of pulses for
phase A single pulse cycle multiplied by four).
Depending on the settings of "Positioning restart range [P080]" and "Positioning completed
range [P017]", the positioning restart function may start and stop repeatedly. Set and adjust the
values to be [P080] > [P017] so that starting and stopping do not occur frequently.
Do not use this function if a brake is used to maintain the stop position. Frequent brake opening
and closing may occur, resulting in load drop and overload trip.
