Monitoring Modules
Use the following commands to view information about all router modules.
show hardware
■ Use to display information about SRP modules, line modules, and I/O modules
in ERX7xx models, ERX14xx models, and the ERX310 router.
■ Use to display information about the chassis, SRP modules, SFMs, line modules,
IOAs, and the fan tray in the E120 and E320 routers.
■ Field descriptions
■ slot—Physical slot that contains the module
■ type—Kind of module or chassis and fan tray in the E120 and E320 routers;
an “e” at the end of an SRP module type (for example, SRP-5Ge) indicates
that the module includes error-checking code (ECC) memory.
■ serial number—Serial number of the module, chassis, or fan tray
■ assembly number—Part number of the module, chassis, or fan tray
■ assembly rev.—Hardware revision of the module, chassis, or fan tray
■ ram (MB)—Memory capacity of the host processor
