7.2. Control Output
7.2.1. Driver Unit Ready: DRDY
This output reports the occurrence of a problem (alarm) that hampers continual operation.
Connect to the alarm input of the master controller.

The output DRDY closes and the output WRN closes if the Driver Unit is in the normal
condition, after the main power was turned on and the initialization of CPU completed.
When an alarm occurs, the Motor servo is deactivated and the Motor stops with the dynamic
brake. The output DRDY opens at this moment.
Refer to “11.Alarm and Warning” for details.

7.2.2. Warning: WRN
This output reports the occurrence of the problem (warning) that can be rectified by reviewing
operation procedure or by tuning of parameters, which do not require the reset of the main power
supply for recovery.

Logic Description

Normal
The shipping set of output WRN is the negative logic. However it can be changed to the positive
logic.
Refer to “8.1.3.2. Editing Control Output” for details.
The way of stopping the Motor depends on the warning type.
Refer to “11.Alarm and Warning” for details.
The warning can be cleared by the commands CL (Clear alarm) or the input ACLR (Alarm clear).
