10.4. Periodic Replacement of Parts
10.4.1. Motor
There are no parts that require periodic replacement in general use.
If a Motor requires repair service, please consult with NSK sales or representative. Any repair
service at the User’s site is not available.
9.4.2. Cables
There are no parts that require periodic replacement in general use.
If the cables are used in the following environments that induce deterioration with age, we
recommend replacing the cables periodically, considering that they are expendables.
◊ When the cables are exposed to the following materials or environment:
• Materials: Oil or chemicals
• Environment: Highly humid, high or low temperature, and vibration.
◊ When a cable is forcibly dragged or bent.
◊ A cable is fixed in a way so that the force to the cable is concentrated on one point.
◊ A cable is put in a cable truck that has less room than normal.
We are sorry that repair service of a cable is not available.
◊ When only a part of cable between the connectors is damaged, we cannot repair that
part only. We have to replace the whole cable.
◊ If the end part of a cable such as a connector is damaged, the accumulated repair cost,
which includes the cost for repair work and parts, and other charges, exceeds the cost
of a new cable.
