The TVG table has four columns:
No
A running count of the number of points that contribute to the TVG setup. The
maximum number of points is 50.
Depth (TOF)
The exact depth, in microseconds, along the screen range where a gain
adjustment is defined.
Depth (Unit)
The corresponding exact depth, in selected units (in., mm, etc), along the screen
range where a gain adjustment is defined.
dB from Ref
The gain value, as compared to base (reference) gain, of the exact point defined
along the screen range.
To build a TVG setup with TVG Table
1. Choose TVGTable On to view the current TVG table.
2. Choose Edit to edit points within the table.
3. Choose Add to add a new point to the table.
4. Use the [RIGHT] and [LEFT] arrow keys to select Depth (either TOF or units),
and adjust the value of the point depth using the adjustment knob.
5. Use the [RIGHT] and [LEFT] arrow keys to select the dB from Ref column and
use the adjustment knob to vary the gain value from base gain.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to continue adding points and adjusting the gain across the
screen range using TVG table.
