Important Safety Notices
ï‚· Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
ï‚· Never install telephone jacks in wet locations unless the jack is specifically designed for wet locations.
ï‚· Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been disconnected at the
network interface.
ï‚· Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines.
ï‚· Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of
electric shock from lightning.
ï‚· Do not use a telephone or cellular phone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
ï‚· Before installing the fax unit, switch off the main switch, and disconnect the power cord.
ï‚· The fax unit contains a lithium battery. The danger of explosion exists if a battery of this type is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Discard
batteries in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and local regulations.

ï‚· Unit must be connected to Telecommunication Network through a line cord that meets the requirements of
ACA Technical Standard TS008.
