NCU Parameters
The following tables give the RAM addresses and the parameter calculation units that the machine uses for ringing
signal detection and automatic dialing. The factory settings for each country are also given. Most of these must be
changed by RAM read/write (SP2-102), but some can be changed using NCU Parameter programming (SP2-103); if
SP2-103 can be used, this will be indicated in the Remarks column. The RAM is programmed in hex code unless (BCD)
is included in the Unit column.
ï‚· The following addresses describe settings for the standard NCU.
Country/Area code for NCU parameters
Use the Hex value to program the country/area code directly into this address, or use the decimal value
to program it using SP2-103-001
Line current detection time
Line current detection is disabled.
Line current is not detected if 680501
contains FF.
Line current drop detect time
PSTN dial tone frequency upper limit
(high byte)
If both addresses contain FF (H), tone
detection is disabled.
