Brightness Calibration (continued)
To calibrate the monitor,
1. Select Test Patterns from the Utility Touch Panel.; then
select Brightness Calibration or Brightness Calibration 2.
The test pattern consists of a small box inside a larger box.
NOTE: When you calibrate the monitor in a dim room, select
Brightness Calibration; when you calibrate the monitor in a
bright room, select Brightness Calibration 2.

2. Press the Brightness/Contrast control on the front of the
monitor.
3. Set the Contrast according to Table 16-40.
4. Set the Brightness at 100. Then slowly decrease the
Brightness until the inner box is no longer visible. Please
note that the monitor response to this adjustment lags
behind the button push.
