Chapter 9 Inverter Functions

Torque limit LADSTOP function
 When the torque limit function is activated or deactivated during deceleration and the motor
experiences shocks from torque pulsation or another source, setting "Torque limit LADSTOP
selection [b045]" to "Enable (01)" may improve the issue. This function temporarily stops
deceleration to stabilize motor operation when the torque limit function is activated or
deactivated.
Outputting an I/O signal when the output torque increases or decreases
 Assign "Over-torque/under-torque [OTQ] (07)" to the output terminal to detect whenever the
output torque goes above or below a preset level and output a signal.
Use this to detect warnings before trip occurrence caused by abnormally large system loads.
 You can set the detection level of each of the four quadrants - forward power, forward
regenerative, reverse power, and reverse regenerative.
 You can select whether to detect warning continuously during operation, or only at constant
speeds (stop detection during acceleration or deceleration).

Over/Under-torque level
(Forward power)
The output torque level of the [OTQ] signal output can
be set for each of the four quadrants - forward power/
forward regenerative/reverse power/reverse
regenerative.
When [C054] is set to "Over-torque (00)", the [OTQ]
output signal turns ON when the estimated output
torque value exceeds the level settings.
The opposite applies if [C054] is set to "Under-torque
(01)".

selection
Enable during running:
Continuously detect the [OTQ] signal during
operation.
Only enable at constant speeds:
Only detect the [OTQ] signal at a constant speed,
and not during acceleration/deceleration.

Over-torque/under-torque [OTQ]:
This signal turns ON when the estimated output
torque value goes above or below [C055] to [C059].
The output frequency when a
torque limit is applied during
deceleration and [b045] is set
to "Enable".
Example: If [C054] is set to Over-torque (00)
