S11: Noises of motor and machine are noisy
Exemplar measures to be taken
The carrier frequency
setting is low.
Increase the "Carrier frequency [b083]". However, this may
increase the noise generated in the inverter and leakage
current from the inverter. In addition, derating is required to
the output current depending on the models.
The rotation frequency of
the motor and the natural
frequency of the machine
resonate.
Change the frequency reference. If a resonance occurs during
acceleration/deceleration, avoid the resonance frequency with
the jump frequency function [A063] to [A068].
Match the base frequency setting and motor rated voltage
setting to the motor rating. If not improved, reduce the output
voltage gain slightly. Or, adjust the control mode to free V/f
characteristics.
S12: Cannot be operated/set by Modbus communication

The communication
parameter setting (station
number, communication
speed, parity setting) is
incorrect or the change has
not been reflected.
Check the [C071] to [C078] setting. If it is changed, turn the
power OFF and then ON again.

Check that the communication wiring is correctly wired to the
[SP]/[SN] terminals.
The termination resistor is
connected incorrectly.
Termination resistors must be connected at both ends of the
device connected by RS485 communication. Connect the
termination resistors correctly. When WJ-C1 is connected at
end communication line, turn on the termination resistor
switch.
There is a lot of noise and a
communication error has
occurred.
Review the wiring layout, wiring with shielded cables, and
grounding to the signal ground.
S13: The earth leakage circuit breaker is activated as the inverter is operated

Leakage currents in the
inverter are large.
Decrease the carrier frequency setting.
Increase the sensitivity current of the earth leakage circuit
breaker, or replace the earth leakage circuit breaker with high
sensitivity current.
