RF Inactivity Timeout
Purpose: Defines the amount of time the radio on the T2425 waits to go into a low power state. If
no data is sent or received within the RF inactivity timeout period set, the radio goes into
a low power state to conserve battery power. If you set a high value, the radio stays on
longer at a higher power rate and uses battery power at a faster rate.
Power Management Tip:
Intermec strongly recommends that you use the optimum RF
inactivity timeout of 5 seconds to preserve the main battery pack’s power.
