To Switch the Password System On
When the password system is switched On, a password must be entered to
access certain printer functions. Note that the following instruction
assumes that the password system is Off.
To switch the password system On:
1. At the CURRENT MESSAGE screen, press the [F4] function key.
The SETUP menu is displayed.
2. Scroll to the top of the SETUP menu until the cursor rests at the
Password option (see Figure 3-17 on page 43).
3. Press the [enter] key.
4. At the Password setting, press the Left [ ] or Right [ ] cursor key
to toggle the setting to On, then press the [enter] key.
5. Press the [esc] key to exit.
