HURTH DOWN ANGLE TRANSMISSION - 8C-4390-823225--1 1096
DIPSTICK
1. Coat sealing ring on dipstick with ATF.
2. Install dipstick into transmission and tighten by
pressing down and turning clockwise at the same
time.

OUTPUT FLANGE
1. Coat output shaft splines with a thin coat of
Quicksilver Engine Coupler Spline Grease.
2. Coat lip of output shaft seal with ATF.
3. Install output shaft flange. Be careful not to dam-
age output shaft seal.

4. Install O-ring into flange and coat with ATF.
5. Install washer and bolt. Torque to 63 lb. ft.
(85 N·m).
